The A 1031-U can be connected by 50 ohm b.n.c. cable direct to any EW EM receiver or to a front panel rack adapter if fitted. Described as a passive antenna this means that the antenna is unpowered and does not have an in-built UHF amplifier.
The antenna can be thread mounted directly onto a mic stand or antenna bracket.
Dimensions 270mm x 130 mm.
Advantages are the antenna can be mounted from the receiver rack and positioned above a temporary stage and positioned for optimum separation, line of sight and reflections off hard surfaces. (Please note the longer and thinner the connecting cable the higher the signal loss from the cable. Use only 50 ohm connectors and cable). IMPORTANT Do not use video 75 ohm cable and connectors).
Some countries will not permit import of antennae by individuals into their region. Destinations NOT permitting import of antennae without a permit include Singapore, Thailand and some other Asian and M.E. destinations. We are NOT able to ship any Antennae to these destinations.
